    Night 5: Fate II

    The party proceeded to climb the Temple stairs and enter the main area from the front gate, only to be greeted by the infamous Collector. The area looks devastated and shows signs of battle. A big sea of flame is covering the ground.

    You are free to talk as the event goes on, however you can only move or use abilities during your turn. You can just talk before starting battle, however if you decide to start battle the needed info is below. Post character pics and descriptions before starting battle if possible.

    The darkness of the night is interrupted by the huge creature standing in the center of the temple, continually releasing ashes and embers to all directions. Next to the creature stands a calm looking man even though he is right next to such a beast.



    Behind this duo stands a tall man wielding a sword and a monk whose left arm is missing.



    The tall man answers to Matou's call.

    "You have finally arrived." He looks at the corpse of the Medic. "I would have preferred not to kill her but she didn't want to back down." Collector sighs and raises his sword, pointing at the party standing in front of him. "You will soon share their fate, I hope you are prepared to fight until the bitter end."

    ...no Matou. It was our fault they lost their lives. THe most we can do is to make the most out of their death.

    "Sorry, negotiations are over! Man, how many Gods do I have to kill tonight?! Hahaha! Yes, this is a sight worthy of a true commander, a true Hero! Let the heavens hear my legend! Learn to fear and respect the spear of the true Master of War!"

    Rider's eyes burn with excitement. He points his spear towards the new group of adversaries and shouts with an even wilder voice.

    "Behold the Blazing Wings of Union!! Suzaku!!"


    "「▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▆▆▆▆▆▆▅▅▅▅▅▅▃▃▃▃▃▃▂▁!!」"

    The formidable beast shook and cried with a hopelessly overwhelming shriek. Only his master could tell if it was in pain or announcing the incoming doom. The aura of fire surrounding its skin thickened to the point that the stone tiles of the temple under his feet began to glow and melt. The monstruous creature inflated, blue flames began to leak from its joints and softer parts of its consitution, and then it opened its jaws. What followed was...silence and white.

    A brutal breath of blue fire was hurled from the dragon, and even just from being shot the effect was the same as if the ruined temple had been hit by a missile. Only those with superhuman sense could tell that a massive fireball was heading to the opposite side of the battlefield, instead of temporal deafness and blindness.

    I'm pausing the event. It seems I need to update the rules a bit on use of command seals. Altought they should be powerful assets in a fight, I'm not sure if evading Noble Phantasms is right way to go. The above post might be deleted depending on my choices.

    Despite being faced with imminent death, Mary does not cower away.

    I can't give up; this isn't only my life anymore!

    Hidden in her left hand were three command seals.

    Berserker, I command you to take me and avoid the blast!

    With a brilliant flash of light, a mark on the command seal disappears. Berserker quickly carries the small girl and they charge away from the blast. Pushed onward by the bright power, the two charge past the blast despite the sensuary distortions. Like a white streak, Berserker sprints at a speed he has never achieved before.

    Still raising her hand high up in the air, she continues.

    Berserker, I command you to kill the beast in front of you with all your might!

    kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk-

    A bright light shines again, this time enveloping the axe that the insane Servant holds.

    But it's not over yet.

    Again, I command you Berserker. Destroy that hateful beast!

    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Brighter and brighter, Berserker's weapon glows. Motivated already by his beastial instincts, the Command Seals only further enhance the crazed power of the crazed creature.

    With a mad look in his eyes, Berserker strikes down with his axe at an inhuman speed.

    Grim, we need a new turn order since Lancer is gone from the battle. Wonder what happened to Matou since he took a 1000 damage NP head on.

    Damage 1050.

    A devastating blast destroys yet again part of the Temple grounds. Matou takes the attack head on and does not have any chance of survival.

    Lancer swings his majestic spear in a downward arc, cutting the smoke and cinders in the scorched night towards the enemy Servant.
