Seeing that her Master did not give an order and that she was in no position to be thinking of anyone else, Rider continued her confrontation with Lancer. Despite the massive pressure coming from him and his mount, Rider still managed to deflect every single attack with her spear. Her patience was rewarded when Lancer became distracted by Homunculus' chanting, giving her an opportunity to strike back. Her naked soles pushed against the concrete floor and Rider forced herself towards Lancer. Focusing the force from her momentum to the tip of the spear, she struck the horse with all her might.

    Spoiler:
Rider uses 8 moves to defend against Lancer's strikes. 1 move to attack Lancer's mount for 120 damage.

Homunculus couldn't help but feel enraged at the Master of Matou's cowardice. His teeth ground against each other violently, knowing that either action he took would lead to unchangeable circumstances. Letting his impulses take control of him, he intercepted the projectiles halfway midflight with his body. Moments later, he visibly winced from pain and felt bits of his strength disappear from his body.

"O Might God of the Wind, Bestow upon me the power of thine sword." He continued again, finishing the procedures of his spell. Even with his discomfort, he forced himself to survey the situation in the battlefield. After a brief analysis, he quickly caught onto Rider's intention and shot the miniature typhoon at the opposing Servant's mount.

    Spoiler:
1 move used on intercepting the spell. Homunculus takes 20 damage and loses 70 of his prana. 2 lines chanted. 'Offensive wind spell' used against Lancer's mount causing 100 damage. (Confirmation from GM that you can't simply defend against it. However, you can still dismount to avoid getting hit.)

Seeing that the battle was becoming dangerous to her, Ayane broke away from her shocked-state and dashed off.

    Spoiler:
She runs off to a place where the 1 liner spells won't reach her...

Rolling 6 sided die for success/failure check on mount evading while keeping Lancer's actions.
Result of 1, 3, or 5 is a success, and the mount dodges with lancer still mounted and no penalty to actions, on a result of 2, 4, or 6 the mount gets hit normally and if it would result in the mount dying, Lancer must spend 1 action to recover.

    Master turn

Shen was a little surprised at the opposing master's behaviour in protecting an innocent, but reporting that to the suppervisor wasn't the priority her, winning the fight was. Not bothering with the girl or the master or the girl anymore, he focused his attention to rider. If he could help lancer win that fight then he should.

''Lancer, I'm sorry about this, but i'll be assisting you from now on. We can't afford to take our enemies lightly.'', which was followed by the same lines as before ''Drain the life from my enemies'', this time aiming the spell at the opposing servant.

    Spoiler:
Two lines cast, two missiles sent at Rider, 10 damage each, they drain 35 prana each

    Lancer's turn

As soon as Lancer saw Rider's lance going for his mount, he knew his chances of winning this fight were going down, and decided to take actions accordingly. Ignoring the incoming attack and spell, Lancer ordered his mount to charge, jumping above rider's head, resulting in the mount taking a hit from rider's attack and from the spell. The mount seemed shaken, but remained standing and did not stop its charge, passing in front of the master of Einzbern as Lancer delivered 8 quick stabs, and then getting back into position to cover for Shen.

    Spoiler:
Mount takes 220 damage. Lancer uses 8 actions to attack the enemy master and 1 action to cover for Shen

Deeming her strategy as effective, Rider opted to ignore the Master of Matou's interference and took the hits directly. She once again faced the threat of the Lancer and his mount's combined rush; Noble Phantasm met Noble Phantasm as the blows yet again accumulated before Lancer once again decided to take up a defensive position. Quickly rotating on her heels, Rider executed a roundhouse slash at the mount.

    Spoiler:
20 damage and 70 prana taken away from the Matou Master. 8 defends. 1 attack on Lancer's mount for 120 damage.

"O Mighty God of the Wind, Bestow upon me the power of thine shield." chanted Homunculus again, this time with a slight variation. Air pressure gathered around his body unnaturally and formed a perpetually revolving barrier.

    Spoiler:
2 lines chanted. 'Defensive wind spell' is activated.

"Rider, we're retreating." commanded Homunculus in response to Lancer's charge, now fully realizing that victory was beyond his reach. His Command Spells glowed once again and Rider became no less than a blur, speeding past Lancer and his mount at a velocity that was beyond recognition. She carried Homunculus away from Lancer as she left and pretty much disappeared from the battlefield visually. Although weak as a Servant, Rider was still way stronger than any human being in existence and a normal teenager couldn't be considered a burden at all.

Less than a minute later, Rider reached the location where Ayane was and hauled her onto her shoulders.

    Spoiler:
Rider and Homunculus escapes from battle. Ayane is taken along.

As Rider and her master disapeared, Shen told Lancer ''Let them get away, i'm not ready to waste ressources and meeting risk the chance of meeting another master. We don't need to reveal so much the first night. Lets get back home. Oh and, watch our back, just in case they come back.

His servant was now standing beside him, giving the impression of being completly unharmed. And he would probably have been dead by far if he had taken even half of those attacks. Servants really were powerful beings.

    Spoiler:
Thats fine, I'll let him escape, end the encounter
